La peinture : art intemporel…
Un des sept arts, la peinture fait penser de facto aux tableaux exposés dans les plus prestigieux musées, à l’instar de la Joconde de Léonard de Vinci. Or, elle est une forme d’art intemporelle qui a su remarquablement traverser les époques, aussi bien avant Jésus-Christ que la Préhistoire, l’Antiquité, le Moyen-Âge ou la Renaissance. Si être peintre n’avait rien de gratifiant, aujourd’hui sa démocratisation a fait des petits peintres de l’ombre des artistesprotagonistes de la société. Peinture à l’huile, acrylique, aquarelle, pastelle ou technique mixte, la peinture subjugue sous toutes ses formes.

L'acrylique, une peinture qui s'adapte
La peinture acrylique et sa conception
L’acrylique est une peinture dont le solvant est en grande partie composé d'eau. Elle est issue d'un mélange de pigments et de résine acrylique et sèche par évaporation de l'eau qu'elle contient.
Les imprimeurs américains Leonard Bocour et Sam Golden inventent une première version de peinture acrylique et la mettent en vente en 1949.Par la suite, le chimiste Henry Levinson crée en 1963 la peinture acrylique artistique, se diluant dans l'eau. Des peintres tels qu'Andy Warhol et David Hockney l'utilisent très rapidement. Au Mexique, elle a également été conçue vers 1950. Des chimistes, en collaboration avec les peintres muralistes mexicains, l'ont mise au point lors de la réalisation des fresques sur les façades de l'université de Mexico.
