La Chevrolet est une des voitures les plus utilisées à Cuba, et ce modèle est fréquemment utilisé par les taxis de La Havane. Cette oeuvre vient s'ajouter aux autres voitures de la série en étant traitée comme une Vanité, c'est-dire qu'elle laisse apparaitre les stigmates du temps qui passe inexorablement et qui réduit à peu de choses un véhicule autrefois prestigieux.
