Eric VAN HOVE

Eric Van Hove, resident artist at the Sharjah Art Museum, will give a work presentation and show a video piece (abreaction series) made during the Shanghai Biennal in 2004.

Born in Guelma, Algeria in 1975, Van Hove was educated in Cameroom, Belgium and Japan, Studying Contemporary Art (BA, Brussels), Traditional Japanese Calligraphy (MFA, Tokyo) and is currently a PhD candidate in Contemporary Art in the the Tokyo University of Fine Arts and Music. He has been based in Tokyo, Japan since 2001.
