Béatrice VAN EZ-LE PERRU

Béatrice, née en 1954 en France, vit et travaille, depuis janvier 2005, à Avignon dans le département du Vaucluse.Peintre de formation non académique, ancienne infirmiere, sa rencontre avec des artistes "artisans"
lui aura permis de retrouver le chemin d'une passion mise entre parenthèse.
Elle anime un atelier consacre a l'enseignement des techniques anciennes et de l'icone depuis 15 ans. Sa pensée rejoint celle de l'écrivain russe N.Gogol soulignant combien tout artiste est investi d'une mission qu'il ne saurait ignorer:
"L'art nous réconcilie avec la vie. L'art, c'est l'introduction de l'ordre et de l'harmonie dans l'âme,
et non du trouble et du désordre... Si l'artiste n'accomplit pas le miracle de transformer l'âme du spectateur
en amour et pardon, son art n'est qu'une passion passagère ..." (Lettre au poète Joukovski du 10.1.1848)
