Edouard TROBEC

Edward TROBEC, was born April 1947 in Chicago and he currently lives and works in Seattle.
His sculpture possesses a timeless beauty and thoughtfulness found rarely in contemporary art. The figures generated by his skilled hands gather the past, present and future into singular experience of being ; a manifestation of energy and spirit. TROBEC believes that within an age of high technology, it becomes essential that art retain its humanistic legacy.  He says of his career : " My goal is to bring figurative sculpture into the twenty-first century, not as a tradition but as an affirmation that the fundamental aspects of being human are not things of the past".
