Working in oil, acrylic and at times in plaster, she focuses on abstract figures using brilliant color combinations. Sold across Canada, Us and Europe, her most recent work includes a collection of musicians, as well as market and café scenes taken from daily life in Montreal. Using large brushes, her strokes are visceral with combinations of long and short strokes as well as textural variations. Torossian develops her natural talent and intuition in art by exploring her own instinct and imagination, only rarely relying on photographs or live models.
