MANIES, Mohammad Tehrani Date of Birth :1960 Tehran B.A. in painting Activities: Participating in 12 personal and public exhibitions. Illustration of 25 children books. Winner of two prizes of the first Asian illustration contest . Participating in a competition in Period Gallery (U.S.A).
A variety of colors and atmosphere is hidden in the traditional music of Iran . To make smoothie its Gnostic understanding, I have painted 16 Iranian musical instruments. In fact, the heart -ravishing nature of this music which crystallizes in its amaible songs had all the merits to make dance the brush. I hope to have the merita and ability to proceed again and finish this collection. M. Tehrani

"In the history of art , know many artist who have tried to show an image of music in their works that have led success in this field. I have tried to make an image of sound in this collection, so I started my works by Iranian traditional instruments.
Also I have some experiences in classical music. In the process of my works , I found that the start and end point should be done at the same time , the same as playing a piece of music . Unfortunately there were not proper tools for such a working so I had to make dim and light taches with my fingers, palm and arm. During of creating works ,some of them was completed and some them not .The same as playing a piece of musuc! "
