Joseo Maria SOLA

José María Sola was born in 1970 in Sant Feliu de Pallerols in the Catalonia region of Spain. He studied at the School of Olot in Gerona under Don Josep Colomer and Elias Garralda, founders of the Olot school of expressionism. Time seems to be forgotten in his endless wanderings, from place to place, through brilliant landscapes. Sola is considered an extraordinary artist who has had numerous important expositions and published books of his work. His paintings display a great depth of field and he has an intuitive sense of where to situate the horizon in his work.
