Luigi ZUCCANTE

LUIGI ZUCCANTE, French-Italian photo artist, is currently settled in
Toulouse (the South West of France). His reputation is well-established
thanks to his photo exhibitions held in France and abroad. In 1978 his
photos were selected by "Centre Georges Pompidou" to be a part of “The
town and the child” exhibition. This artist is well known as laureate
of several prizes. He was one of the prize winners for the photography
book "A day in France" (Hachette publisher). His talent was also
awarded first prize for a colour photo competition organized by
"Conseil Général" of Tarn-et-Garonne. For him, photography is not only
a means of expression but also a means to heal the soul, which is
called phototherapy. The quality of his research on photography is
substantiated by his university publications and by his Ph.D degree in
this domain. Afterthat, Luigi has assimilated painting into his art and
he is in search of pictorial means of expression's balance. This
research will be the theme of his book. Besides, L.Zuccante is an
author : he has published a philosophical short story “Peppino's
travel” with Naaman pubisher in Canada. He also works for “Itinéraires
Edition” and edited some writers'works such as Georges Teindas's and
Robert Redeher's (also translated into English and Italian).
