Emilio LAROCCA

Larocca was born in Treschina, Italy in 1932. His training includes graduation from the Leonardo da Vinci School of Fine Arts and degrees from the Center for International Studies and the Center for Studies of Traditional History of the Basilica. He was awarded the President's Medal of the Republic and the Plugia 1989 International Award. He participated in the restoration of Saint Peter's Basilica in Rome. His Impressionism reminds one of the Italian painters of the Baroque period. He is probably better known for his work in restoration than as a painter.
