I generally work with oils on canvas and graphite on paper, from images
I've taken myself or family photos--with particular emphasis on layers,
blurred movement, chaotic compositions, nostalgia, obsession for
detail. NOTE: I do not use projection or grids, I draw and paint
directly onto paper and canvas. The digital images I use are sketches,
not blueprints. Therefore the effect is one of figuration with a touch
of expressionism, rather than hyperrealism.
