Grégoire DEVIN is French and was born in Nantes in 1978. Gifted with aesthetic sensibility and raised in an environment which encouraged artistic development, he started drawing and playing music at a very young age. This lead him to developed a taste for "Street Art".He would later become attracted to the contrasting charm of the dark alleys of Brooklyn and Harlem and by the lively atmosphere in the streets of Miami.

Each of his paintings are a portrait of real life, all at once dynamic and static as a mental urbanistic construction inspired by his travels.They mystify the observer, who gets lost with great pleasure, in the labyrinth of the perception - one that invites us to rethink our relationship to the vast urban space.

In his last works, inspired by great names of art, Grégoire DEVIN revisits classical paintings and highlights the purity of the woman living in a contemporary environment.
