FURIGNY

FURIGNY(Michel Branchu), a French painter from Neuville-de-Poitou near Poitiers in the heart of France was born in 1937.
He studied Art and Humanities in Aix en Provence whilst playing guitar with various Jazz bands.
He is currently living near Grasse in the South East of France where he has been drawing and painting for several years.
Keeping close links with contemporary poets such as Jean-Marie Barnaud (1), he has contributed drawings and paintings inspired by the latter?s work. These were displayed at exhibitions of the poet?s work on several occasions.
Furigny has taken part in numerous exhibitions in France and his work is currently exhibited internationally :
