Artist's Note on techniques:
"My acrylic paintings on plexiglass are painted in a process I developed using custom mixed heavy bodied acrylic paints and heavy Arches watercolor paper laminated to the BACK of plexiglass panels. I developed this process over 25 years ago. I was troubled by the fact that acrylics colors "die" when exposed to time and air. This process preservesthe brilliant wet look colors and iridescent glow permanently since the paints dry and laminate directly to the plexiglass. so colors do not "die" with age or need cleaning or varnish in the passing years! There is also great luminosity and depth to the works. They have to be seen to be truly appreciated.
My collectors say they are still enjoying the colors as if they were just painted. The materials are all archival - museum quality. Each work is backed by acid free foam core and framed in an airtight layer. These works are created to last hundreds of years!"
