MINERAL NATURAL ARCHITECTURES

Mineral Natural Architectures
, Inertia ? No but a tribute, an Ode to Mother Nature which from immemorial times has inspired Human beings, carved the shape of their ideas, their behaviour and then their cultures in ways to meet her : by dominating the nature, fearing her, or being in harmony with her ? Perhaps a little piece of each. Obviously, since dawn of civilizations, from the primordial cave to the pyramids, via the zigourrats, obelisks and Triumph Arches, the hart of the large cities so many ways and symbols are to express the Human power, his knowlege, his know-how ! From vernacular architectures to the learned and sophisticated ones, all have been – and still are - depending on their direct environnment, their site and their climate. We notice it nowadays despite the spectacular technology advances. Our consciousness makes us actually ask ourselves not about the limits of the natural resources but on the limits of our own civilisation which constantly endeavours to figure out its outcome, but in fact becomes the witness of its vulnerability and even ephemral existence. When forests, dezerts, mountains, glaciers, oceans and climates obviously change, erode or evolve at our expense or because of us accordingly they live their eternity matching a rhythm and a dancing Universe, into which Human beings invited themselves just some time ago and began to learn generation after generation the rhythmic dancing steps, the sounds and the colors, and finally the Shapes Art of Harmony. We all are One in an eternal evolving, the sum of the whole local circumvolutions and revolutions, from the infinitly Small to the Infinitly Big ! Tarik Yuterick BELLAHSENE
