Juan Arroyo was born in the historic Andalusian city of Cordoba. Throughout his career, he has remained focused principally on portraits, which he performs with an exquisite Realist style. Given his universal recognition as a chamber painter, many of his works can be found among the portraits of royal and aristocratic families around the world.
