Olga Aparicio was born in 1967 in Mexico to Spanish parents, descendents of a long line of painters. Her grandfather, Florentino Aparicio, was a renowned sculptor. She returned at the age of 10 to Benidorm, Spain and has remained there since.
In 1991, she was awarded a scholarship by the Ministry of Science and Education and went on to receive her degree from the Faculty of Fine Arts of San Carlos at the Polytechnical University of Valencia, specializing in the area of drawing.
From 1992 to 1998, she furthered her art education in postgraduate studies at the Lorenzo Medici School of Applied Arts in Florence, Italy, where she took various courses allowing her to specialize in different arenas such as computer graphic design and professional and academic adaptation.
In 1993 she gave a speech, "The Aura in Art", to the Faculty of Psychology of the Intercontinental University in Mexico.
In recent years she has worked as a professor of painting
